When you’re ready to take your certification exams to become an RPT - Registered Piano Technician - you are welcome to our shop to take your exams. Of course, the written test must be completed before you can take the technical and tuning exams. We typically administer the tuning exam on Saturdays and the technical exam on Sundays.
This can be up to a week of comprehensive training that covers all the requirements to pass both the tuning and technical PTG certification exams. The training will be tailored to your individual needs, ensuring you are fully prepared. We will even conduct a mock tuning and technical exam to identify any areas that need attention, and then work on these areas. This thorough preparation will give you the confidence to pass the exams with flying colors. 🤞 You must pre-qualify for this seminar.
Accommodations and Meals
There are several hotels and B&Bs in the area. I will pick you up and bring you back to your room each day within the 20015 zip code. We will provide a nice breakfast and lunch.
The cost of accommodations will vary.
I will pick you up from the airport, train, or bus stations and take you back after the class.
Seminar Cost only
$350.00 per day. You can decide how many days you would like for Exam Prep.
The cost of the exams must be paid directly to the Piano Technicians Guild before scheduling this seminar.
